MOPS was awarded with its first offshore painting contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum in 2007 to protect all assets and ensure integrity for all types of offshore structures.
Our performance as a leading Blasting Painting and Scaffolding Bumiputra company enabled to win the major offshore painting activities for East Asset of Brunei Shell Petroleum in 2014. In recognition for MOPS successful track record and extensive performance achievement, MOPS was again honoured by Brunei Shell Petroleum by awarding Integrated Fabric maintenance contract to east asset in 2021 under new management and organization.
Internal Vessels and pipes’ lining
MOPS has a good track record in Internal Vessel Painting for Brunei Shell Petroleum since 2017. We have a team of professionals in Internal Vessel Painting and Surface Preparation complete with full set of required equipment, competent in the applications of paint systems for pressured vessels and storage tanks.
We have a team of applicators for fast curing paint systems for internal vessel paintings to cater the BSP’s shut down requirements.
Latest technology equipment, tools and a special team for addressing all Internal blasting and coating of small-bore vessels, pipes and flanges.

Vapour Abrasive Blasting
MOPS is one of the approved contractors under Brunei Shell Petroleum and Government sectors for Vapour Abrasive Blasting. It is a process for surface preparation and cleaning using pressurized water and abrasive blast media. For our dustless wet abrasive blasting projects, we use EcoQuip® blast equipment, renowned for its advanced technology, EcoQuip® ensures consistent satisfaction even for the most challenging projects. The water mist suppresses dust, creating a cleaner work environment. Vapour blasting is gentle on various surfaces, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Inspection Services – Protective Coating
Corrosion and Protective coating have always been in the top list of the asset owner, since he wants to be confident that a quality work is executed as per the industrial standards. It is to ensure that the onshore and offshore assets are protected for a long time with minimal future repairs. Independent Coating Inspection Services help any asset owner of industrial and commercial structures mitigate the risks of corrosion by verifying the quality of protective coating systems. Assurance on quality during surface preparation and coating application is vital in controlling corrosion related issues. MOPS also provide inspections services to verify that the contractor’s QC practices are adequate to achieve the desired final product according to the painting specification. Our QC inspectors provide independent QC Inspections for clients and contractors for Brunei Shell Petroleum and other projects
Thermal insulation using aerolon
An innovative, fluid-applied, thermal insulating coating utilizing aerogel particles that imparts exceptional insulative properties to a variety of substrates. Ideal for insulating pipes, valves, tanks, structural steel, or other substrates where thermal improvement or personnel protection is desired. Part of a durable, corrosion-resistant coating system that bonds to the substrate, greatly reducing the issues associated with corrosion under insulation (CUI) and mitigating thermal bridging by controlling condensation.
MOPS is approved to perform Thermal Insulation coating using Aerolon in BSP facilities.
Rope Accessing(Abseiling)
MOPS has a highly skilled Rope Access team of Blasters and Painters to perform surface preparation and coating activities for areas where it is not feasible to have scaffolding. They are also performing Touch Up Painting (TUP) & First Aid Painting (FAP) jobs for Offshore locations.
Offshore Catering Service
It provides catering, housekeeping, cleaning & laundry services to onboard offshore installation, ships, barges & onshore accommodation camp which includes the provision of supply of food, catering equipment & maintenance of accommodation & kitchen facilities.
